CHINA REMAIN AS THE BIGGEST FOOTWEAR EXPORTER

According to the China custom statistics, the total footwear export value has achieved to USD41.72 billion in 2011, increased by 17.1% as compared to 2010 of USD 32.21 billion. Guangdong (the important footwear manufacturing base) has ranked the top in China footwear export accounting to 3.53 billion pairs at value of US$11.25 billion from January to October 2011. China has maintained the role as the biggest footwear exporters in the world even though face with lots of unfavorable external environment factors. China shoes and leather industry is potential on its way of speedy development.

STRONG SUPPORT RALLIED FROM WORLDWIDE

“SHOES & LEATHER - GUANGZHOU 2012” have received strong support from worldwide exhibitors and national pavilions showing keen interest to participate. Currently, 75% of the exhibition spaces have been sold out or reserved. Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Italy, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand will again join the fair as national pavilions. After some years, Turkish national pavilion will participate again in the fair, showing that the China shoes and leather market is important with great potential.

“SHOES & LEATHER - GUANZGHOU 2012” will attract over 1,000 exhibitors from 30 different countries and regions occupying a total 55,000 sqm exhibition areas. It is also anticipated more than 40,000 trade buyers will visit the fair. It showcases the worldwide latest products and innovative technology in shoe making & tanning machinery; leather/tannery; materials; chemical; accessories/components etc.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTWEAR & LEATHER PRODUCTS EXHIBITION (IFLE-GUANGZHOU 2012)

“IFLE-GUANGZHOU 2011 ”- International Footwear & Leather Products Exhibition Guangzhou

The domestic sales of footwear in China have significantly risen and the brand awareness has also increasing.  Apart, Chinese footwear manufacturers have shifted their market focus from EU & US markets to ASEAN and Middle East countries. “IFLE-GUANGZHOU 2012” will be the 2nd edition held concurrently in “SHOES & LEATHER GUANZGHOU 2012” at the “Finished Product” section in an individual hall.

Supported by various local and international footwear & leathergoods associations, “IFLE-GUANZGHOU 2012” will be established as the Asia's premium shoe fair focusing at the China domestic market spearing out to the ASEAN. It showcases the brand, fashionable and the latest trend of middle to high-end footwear and leather products from worldwide. It is the perfect timely event for restocking the late autumn/winter of 2012 and to pre-view the trendy collection of spring/summer 2013.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTWEAR DESIGN COMPETITION (IFDC 2012)

As a focus of attraction, the 4th International Footwear Design Competition 2012, organized by the International Footwear Conference (IFC) and co-organised by all the regional members as well as sponsored by Top Repute Co., Ltd. will be held concurrently in the exhibition. Winner Awards will be presented during the Opening Dinner Banquet and the winning entries will be displayed in the “TREND WALK” area during the exhibition period. 

The competition is meant to increase footwear design and fashion to a higher prominence level, to develop & foster the youngster talent, to enhance the awareness of fashion and design for the young designers, to help the diversified growth of the footwear industry.  Designers from China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan Region, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam have submitted their entries for the competition. The final judgment and Winner Awards will take place in the “SHOES & LEATHER - GUANGZHOU 2012” on 30th May 2012.

TREND WALK – Fashion Trend Display
